Vejby IF

Vejby IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Vejby IF, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Vejby IF could be found in Group 21 together with Prep Schools Lions Orange, Fc Franconville PB and Backatorp IF 2. Vejby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against European Football Academy with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Vejby comes from Vejby which lies approximately 170 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vejby does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Munka-Ljungby IF, Ängelholms FF, Hjärnarps GIF, Allerums GIF, Västra Karups IF, Helsingborg City FC, Hittarps IK, Brunnby FF, Jonstorp IF and Råå IF).
