Sjöstaden Karlskrona

Sjöstaden Karlskrona was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Sjöstaden Karlskrona, 33 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Sjöstaden Karlskrona could be found in Group 8 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy, Åsa IF and Sävedalens IF. Sjöstaden Karlskrona continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Avaldsnes IL with 0-3. In the Final, Avaldsnes IL won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Sjöstaden Karlskrona comes from Karlskrona which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
