Linköpings FC

Linköpings FC was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). In addition to Linköpings FC, 15 other teams from 5 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Linköpings FC could be found in Group 4 together with Kolding IF, Lyn Fotball and Kristianstads DFF. Linköpings FC made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Viking FK, which they won with 4-3. Thereby Linköpings FC won the entire Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17) during Gothia Cup 2022. Linköpings FC comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Smedby AIS, Mjölby AI/FF, Eneby BK, Malmslätts AIK, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, IK Sleipner, IFK Norrköping and Mantorps FF).
