Eskilstuna City FK

Eskilstuna City FK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Eskilstuna City FK, 42 other teams from 10 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna City FK could be found in Group 5 together with Karlbergs BK Vit, Game Sport Ragusa and Öjersjö IF. Eskilstuna City FK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mjällby AIF with 0-6. In the Final, Halmstads BK 2 won over Halmstads BK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14B. Eskilstuna City FK comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
