Södra Sandby IF

Södra Sandby IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Södra Sandby IF, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Södra Sandby IF could be found in Group 9 together with SC Borgfeld eV, Toca Juniors FC and Norrtulls SK. Södra Sandby IF made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Stureby FF with 3-4. Thereby Södra Sandby IF finished second in G17 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2022. Södra Sandby comes from Södra Sandby which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
