The Football Academy Dubai

The Football Academy Dubai was one of 7 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to The Football Academy Dubai, 42 other teams from 10 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof The Football Academy Dubai could be found in Group 9 together with IFK Aspudden-Tellus 1, BK Häcken 2 and Jönköpings Södra IF 1. The Football Academy Dubai continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Re Fotballklubb 1 with 1-3. In the Final, Rönninge Salem Fotboll 1 won over JSSL Singapore and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. The Football Academy Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Go-Pro Sports, Alliance FC, Empire Sports, Reach Target Sports, HITS and Desert Rangers Dubai).
