Rynninge IK

Rynninge IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Rynninge IK, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Rynninge IK could be found in Group 14 together with Gideonsbergs IF, BK Höllviken and Fjolnir. Rynninge IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mölndal Fotboll with 0-1. In the Final, Arna-Bjørnar won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Rynninge comes from Örebr which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örebr does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Hovsta IF, Örebro SK, KIF Örebro DFF and IFK Kumla).
