Umedalens IF

Umedalens IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Umedalens IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Umedalens IF could be found in Group 50 together with JDFS Alberts, Helsingborg City FC and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. Umedalens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lilla Torg FF with 0-5. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Umedalens comes from Ume which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ume does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Umeå IK FF, IFK Umeå, Gimonäs Umeå IF, Tegs SK, Umeå Södra FF, Röbäcks IF, Flurkmarks IK and Mariehem SK).
