RS Sports

RS Sports was one of 9 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to RS Sports, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof RS Sports could be found in Group 21 together with Hittarps IK 2, Västerås IK 1 and Lindsdals IF. RS Sports continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mjölby AI/FF 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. RS Sports comes from São Paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around São Paulo does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (InterClubes, CA Monte Libano, Euro Sports Brasil, Ordin FC, Brasil Juniors Futebol, E.C. Pinheiros and Audax).
