Varbergs BoIS FC

Varbergs BoIS FC was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Varbergs BoIS FC, 31 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Varbergs BoIS FC could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Haninge, GIF Sundsvall and BK Häcken. Varbergs BoIS FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Degerfors IF with 3-4. In the Final, Kalmar FF won over Degerfors IF and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. Varbergs BoIS FC comes from Varberg which lies approximately 74 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varberg does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Onsala BK, Åsa IF, Frillesås FF and Falkenbergs FF).
