Degerfors IF

Degerfors IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Degerfors IF, 31 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Degerfors IF could be found in Group 5 together with GAIS, IF Brommapojkarna and Landskrona BoIS. Degerfors IF made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Kalmar FF with 2-4. Thereby Degerfors IF finished second in SEF Play off B during Gothia Cup 2022. Degerfors comes from Degerfors which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Degerfors IF, the club IFK Kristinehamn does also originate from the area around Degerfors.
