Hyllie IK

Hyllie IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Hyllie IK, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Hyllie IK could be found in Group 39 together with Hovås-Billdal IF, Lillestrøm SK 1 and FC Pidshypnyk. Hyllie IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against The Tactical Specialists FC with 4-5. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Hyllie comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 35 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF, IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo, Lilla Torg FF and Dalby GIF).
