Ancaster Legacy FC

Ancaster Legacy FC was one of four clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ancaster Legacy FC, 33 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ancaster Legacy FC could be found in Group 6 together with Landvetter IF, IFK Viksjö and Piteå IF DFF. Ancaster Legacy FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Fjärås with 0-1. In the Final, Avaldsnes IL won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Ancaster Legacy FC comes from Ancaster which lies approximately 6100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
