IFK Timrå

IFK Timrå was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IFK Timrå, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof IFK Timrå could be found in Group 10 together with OC Surf North, HGH Halmstad and Lunds FF. IFK Timrå continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kalmar with 1-4. In the Final, Vikingur won over IFK Kalmar and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. IFK Timrå comes from Timrå which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Timrå does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Njurunda IK, Härnösand SK, GIF Sundsvall, Sidsjö-Böle IF, Sundsvalls DFF, Kungsnäs/Sidsjö-Böle and Selånger SK).
