IF Elfsborg

In addition to IF Elfsborg, 24 other teams from 10 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IF Elfsborg could be found in Group 3 together with C.F Internacional Monterrey, Montrouge FC 92 and GIF Sundsvall. IF Elfsborg continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Malmö FF with 0-2. In the Final, Malmö FF won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17).
