Västerås BK30

Västerås BK30 was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Västerås BK30, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Västerås BK30 could be found in Group 5 together with Habo IF, ATS Buntentor, St. Paul Blackhawks 2 and Bacata. Västerås BK30 continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 0-2. In the Final, Stureby FF won over Södra Sandby IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Västerås BK30 comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF, IFK Eskilstuna, BK Sport, Norrby IK, IK Franke, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Gideonsbergs IF and IFK Västerås FK).
