Cefor Tuzos Cancun

Cefor Tuzos was one of 16 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Cefor Tuzos, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Cefor Tuzos Cancun could be found in Group 6 together with IS Halmia, Täby FK 2 and Breidablik 1. Cefor Tuzos Cancun continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Viksjö 1 with 1-3. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Cefor Tuzos comes from Cancun which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Cancun does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Femelite F.C, U. de Chile, Academy Elite, Club Caref, Cadamu GDL, Cefor San Luis, C.F Internacional Monterrey, Atletico Echegaray, Intercups MX and Mexico United FC).
