LA United

LA United was one of 31 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to LA United, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof LA United could be found in Group 2 together with Stjarnan 5, Streetball FC and Täby FK. LA United continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against NCE Soccer with 0-1. In the Final, Streetball FC won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. LA United comes from Los Angeles which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than LA United, the club OC Surf North does also originate from the area around Los Angeles.
