Skövde Kvinnliga IK

Skövde Kvinnliga IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Skövde Kvinnliga IK, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Skövde Kvinnliga IK could be found in Group 18 together with Steel Soccer PA, Stureby SK and Smedby AIS. Skövde Kvinnliga IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vikingur with 0-1. In the Final, Vikingur won over IFK Kalmar and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Skövde Kvinnliga comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Götene IF, IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK, Falköpings KIK, IFK Mariestad, Jula BK/MBK, Ulvåkers IF, Skövde AIK, IFK Skövde FK, IFK Falköping FF and Våmbs IF).
