Munktorps BK

Munktorps BK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Munktorps BK, 84 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Munktorps BK could be found in Group 12 together with San Francisco Seals, Diamond FC and Lindome GIF. Munktorps BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Swindon Town FITC with 0-3. In the Final, Groß Flottbek won over Altona 93 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Munktorps comes from Köping which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Köping does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF, IFK Eskilstuna, BK Sport, Norrby IK, IK Franke, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Gideonsbergs IF and IFK Västerås FK).
