Sunderby SK

Sunderby SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sunderby SK, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Sunderby SK could be found in Group 25 together with Vaksala SK, Limmareds IF and Lillestrøm SK. Sunderby SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF 2 with 2-3. In the Final, FC New England won over Hammarby IF FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Sunderby SK comes from Södra Sunderbyn which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södra Sunderbyn does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Hedens IF, Lira BK and FC Norrsken).
