Saint Ita's AFC

Saint Ita's AFC was one of three clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Saint Ita's AFC, 66 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Saint Ita's AFC could be found in Group 9 together with Stjarnan 1, Lerums IS and Vinslövs IF. Saint Ita's AFC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Nærbø IL with 6-7. In the Final, Täby FK won over Skellefteå FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Saint Ita's AFC comes from Donabate which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
