Rimbo IF

Rimbo IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rimbo IF, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Rimbo IF could be found in Group 3 together with Keflavik, Lillestrøm SK 2 and Storvreta IK. Rimbo IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Enköpings SK with 4-6. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Rimbo comes from Rimbo which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rimbo does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Hisingsbacka FC, EKF Täby, Danmarks IF, Täby FK, IFK Österåker, Märsta IK, Vallentuna BK, Viggbyholms IK FF, Vallentuna BK DF and Runby IF).
