Mönsterås GoIF

Mönsterås GoIF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Mönsterås GoIF, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Mönsterås GoIF could be found in Group 13 together with Prep Schools District, Qviding FIF 1 and KL Youth Soccer. Mönsterås GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lerums IS with 0-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 3 won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Mönsterås GoIF comes from Mö which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mö does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Oskarshamns AIK, Lindsdals IF, Kalmar FF, Högsby IK and IFK Borgholm).
