Grödinge SK

Grödinge SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Grödinge SK, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Grödinge SK could be found in Group 29 together with Reach Target Sports, Jula BK/MBK and Aurskog-Finstadbru SK. Grödinge SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Karbener SV 1890 with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Grödinge SK comes from Tumba which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tumba does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Skogås/Trångsunds FF and Hanvikens SK).
