Kalmar Södra IF

Kalmar Södra IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Kalmar Södra IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Kalmar Södra IF could be found in Group 38 together with Sollentuna FK Syd 2, Fjolnir and TSV Buchholz 08 2. Kalmar Södra IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF FF with 6-7. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Kalmar Södra comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (IFK Kalmar, Hossmo BK, Lindsdals IF, Smedby BoIK, Kalmar FF, IFK Borgholm, Färjestadens GoIF and Möre BK).
