Torns IF

Torns IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Torns IF, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Torns IF could be found in Group 10 together with Prep Schools Lions, San Francisco Seals, Trollhättans FK and Stjarnan 4. Torns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Borgeby FK with 4-5. In the Final, Täby FK won over Skellefteå FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Torns comes from Stångby which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stångby does also provide 36 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF, FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF and IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo).
