Ljungskile SK

Ljungskile SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Ljungskile SK, 71 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Ljungskile SK could be found in Group 15 together with Dalkurd FF, TSV Buchholz 08 and Torslanda IK 1. Ljungskile SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hisingsbacka FC with 7-8. In the Final, Götaholm BK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Ljungskile SK comes from Ljungskile which lies approximately 62 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ljungskile does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollhättans FK, Stenungsunds IF, Kungshamns IF, Vallens IF, Skoftebyns IF, Kungshamn/Smögens IF, Vänersborgs IF, Vänersborgs FK, Trollhättans IF and Stala IF).
