Selånger SK

Selånger SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Selånger SK, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Selånger SK could be found in Group 9 together with BK Häcken 2, Ellicott City SC, Sandvikens IF and Djurgårdens IF 1. Selånger SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Storfors AIK with 0-5. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Selånger SK comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Njurunda IK, GIF Sundsvall, Sidsjö-Böle IF, Sundsvalls DFF, IFK Timrå and Kungsnäs/Sidsjö-Böle).
