Eskilstuna Södra FF

Eskilstuna Södra FF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Eskilstuna Södra FF, 84 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna Södra FF could be found in Group 3 together with SV Rugenbergen, EDY Sport Enrichment Center and Rönninge Salem Fotboll. Eskilstuna Södra FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Dalen KFF with 5-7. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Dalkurd FF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Eskilstuna Södra comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF, IFK Eskilstuna, BK Sport, Norrby IK, IK Franke, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Gideonsbergs IF and IFK Västerås FK).
