VGA Saint Maur

VGA Saint Maur was one of 27 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to VGA Saint Maur, 84 other teams from 19 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof VGA Saint Maur could be found in Group 4 together with West Florida Flames SC, Dalen KFF and Bro IK. VGA Saint Maur continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FC New England with 2-4. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Dalkurd FF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. VGA Saint Maur comes from ST MAUR which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around ST MAUR does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Academy JR 24, Lycée International St Germain en Laye, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, Fc Franconville PB, Collège St Justin Levallois, FC Saint Cloud, AS Ermont, AS Poissy, AS Meudon and VGA Saint Maur Feminin).
