Solängens BK

Solängens BK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Solängens BK, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Solängens BK could be found in Group 22 together with Hittarps IK 1, Prep Schools District Blue and Tyresö FF. Solängens BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against RS Sports with 1-2. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Solängens comes from Mölndal which lies approximately 9 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mölndal does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois and Utbynäs SK).
