Piteå IF/MSSK 1

Piteå IF/MSSK 1 was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Piteå IF/MSSK 1, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Piteå IF/MSSK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Breidablik 2, Hammarby IF FF and Vittsjö GIK. Piteå IF/MSSK 1 continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lyn Fotball with 0-5. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Piteå IF/MSSK 1 comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Infjärdens SK IBFF/ÖIF, Storfors AIK, Alviks IK, FC Norrsken, Piteå IF and Piteå IF DFF).
