Mariehem SK

Mariehem SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Mariehem SK, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Mariehem SK could be found in Group 5 together with Islingby IK, Sporting Hasselt SKF MtW and IFK Osby. Mariehem SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vendelsö IK 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Mariehem SK comes from UMEA which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around UMEA does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Umeå IK FF, IFK Umeå, Gimonäs Umeå IF, Tegs SK, Umeå Södra FF, Röbäcks IF, Flurkmarks IK and Umedalens IF).
