Landvetter IF

Landvetter IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Landvetter IF, 33 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Landvetter IF could be found in Group 6 together with Ancaster Legacy FC, IFK Viksjö and Piteå IF DFF. Landvetter IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against VGA Saint Maur Feminin 2 with 0-3. In the Final, Sundsvalls DFF won over Viggbyholms IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Landvetter comes from Landvetter which lies approximately 17 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Landvetter does also provide 71 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois and Utbynäs SK).
