Special Olympics Finland

Special Olympics Finland was one of five clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Gothia Special Olympics Trophy. In addition to Special Olympics Finland, 39 other teams from 12 different countries played in Gothia Special Olympics Trophy. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Special Olympics Finland could be found in Group 1 together with Special Olympics Azerbaijan Female, Special Olympics Belgium Flames and Special Olympics Uzbekistan Tashkent. Special Olympics Finland comes from Helsinki which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsinki does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Järvenpään Palloseura and LPS).
