IFK Lidingö FK

IFK Lidingö FK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IFK Lidingö FK, 152 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof IFK Lidingö FK could be found in Group 32 together with Phoenix Football Academy, Lunden ÖBK and Fana Fotball. IFK Lidingö FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Djurgården IF FF P09-4 with 4-5. In the Final, Gardanne Biver FC won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. IFK Lidingö FK comes from Lidingö which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lidingö does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Värmdö IF and Skogås/Trångsunds FF).
