Helsingborg City FC

Helsingborg City FC was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Helsingborg City FC, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Helsingborg City FC could be found in Group 50 together with JDFS Alberts, Umedalens IF and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. Helsingborg City FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Helsingborg City FC comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Furulunds IK, Munka-Ljungby IF, Ängelholms FF, Dösjöbro IF, Hjärnarps GIF, Fortuna FF, Allerums GIF, Hittarps IK, Brunnby FF and Jonstorp IF).
