Norrby IK

Norrby IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Norrby IK, 17 other teams played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Norrby IK could be found in Group 1 together with The Kusasa Stars, Olofströms IF/Jämshögs IF and Hossmo BK. Norrby IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tyresö FF 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Hossmo BK won over Spånga IS FK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14B. Norrby comes from Hallstahammar which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hallstahammar does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF, IFK Eskilstuna, BK Sport, IK Franke, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Gideonsbergs IF, IFK Västerås FK and Skiljebo SK).
