Rågsveds IF

Rågsveds IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rågsveds IF, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Rågsveds IF could be found in Group 32 together with Backatorp IF 2, Asre and Stjarnan 1. Rågsveds IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vikingur 1 with 0-13. In the Final, Vikingur 1 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Rågsveds comes from Band which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Band does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Värmdö IF and Skogås/Trångsunds FF).
