FC Norrsken

FC Norrsken was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to FC Norrsken, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof FC Norrsken could be found in Group 26 together with St. Paul Blackhawks 2, Finnsnes IL Fotball and Örby IS. FC Norrsken continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Escalate Elite FC with 0-5. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. FC Norrsken comes from Rosvik which lies approximately 990 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rosvik does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Infjärdens SK IBFF/ÖIF, Storfors AIK, Alviks IK, Piteå IF, Sunderby SK, Piteå IF DFF and Piteå IF/MSSK 1).
