Alviks IK

Alviks IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Alviks IK, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Alviks IK could be found in Group 6 together with Marin FC 1, Vikingur 2 and Jonstorp IF. Alviks IK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vikingur 1 with 2-3. In the Final, Streetball FC won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Alviks comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Storfors AIK, IFK Luleå, Hedens IF, Lira BK, FC Norrsken, Piteå IF, Sunderby SK, Piteå IF DFF and Piteå IF/MSSK 1).
