Sundbybergs IK

Sundbybergs IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sundbybergs IK, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Sundbybergs IK could be found in Group 19 together with Dalkurd FF, Lilla Torg FF and FH. Sundbybergs IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vendelsö IK 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Sundbybergs comes from Sundbyberg which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundbyberg does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Värmdö IF and Skogås/Trångsunds FF).
