AS Poissy

AS Poissy was one of 27 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to AS Poissy, 71 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof AS Poissy could be found in Group 5 together with Emmaboda IS, V. Frölunda IF and KA. AS Poissy continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Leiknir with 0-1. In the Final, Götaholm BK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. AS Poissy comes from POISSY which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around POISSY does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Academy JR 24, Lycée International St Germain en Laye, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, Fc Franconville PB, Collège St Justin Levallois, FC Saint Cloud, VGA Saint Maur, AS Ermont, US Persan and AS Meudon).
