Landvetter IS

Landvetter IS was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Landvetter IS, 71 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Landvetter IS could be found in Group 11 together with Regents Park FC, Slätta SK and Tölö IF. Landvetter IS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against AS Meudon with 7-8. In the Final, Eskilsminne IF won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Landvetter IS comes from Landvetter which lies approximately 16 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Landvetter does also provide 71 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois and Utbynäs SK).
