HGH Halmstad

HGH Halmstad was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to HGH Halmstad, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof HGH Halmstad could be found in Group 10 together with OC Surf North, Lunds FF and IFK Timrå. HGH Halmstad continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Arna-Bjørnar with 1-11. In the Final, Arna-Bjørnar won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. HGH Halmstad comes from Harplinge which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Harplinge does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (IS Halmia, Västra Karups IF, Falkenbergs FF and Halmstads BK).
