Bälinge IF

Bälinge IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Bälinge IF, 71 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Bälinge IF could be found in Group 9 together with Norrby IF, Stenungsunds IF and Cefor San Luis. Bälinge IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Slätta SK with 2-4. In the Final, Eskilsminne IF won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Bälinge comes from Bälinge which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bälinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Hisingsbacka FC, Vaksala SK, Danmarks IF, Storvreta IK, Gamla Upsala SK, IF VP Uppsala, Märsta IK, IK Sirius FK and Dalkurd FF).
