IFK Valla

IFK Valla was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IFK Valla, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof IFK Valla could be found in Group 16 together with Game Sport Ragusa, Phoenix Football Academy and Torshälla-Nyby IS. IFK Valla continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lerums IS with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 3 won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. IFK Valla comes from Tjörn which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tjörn does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Stenungsunds IF, Kärra Dragons, Ale United, Angered MBIK, Vallens IF, Kärra KIF, IK Kongahälla and Hermansby IF).
