Sundsvalls DFF

Sundsvalls DFF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Sundsvalls DFF, 33 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Sundsvalls DFF could be found in Group 7 together with KFV Segeberg, Jitex BK and Umeå IK FF. Sundsvalls DFF made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Viggbyholms IK FF, which they won with 3-0. Thereby Sundsvalls DFF won the entire Play off B in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2022. Sundsvalls DFF comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Njurunda IK, GIF Sundsvall, Sidsjö-Böle IF, IFK Timrå, Kungsnäs/Sidsjö-Böle and Selånger SK).
