Team Södermöre

Team Södermöre was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Team Södermöre, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Team Södermöre could be found in Group 12 together with Flurkmarks IK, Marin FC and Kärra KIF. Team Södermöre continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Backatorp IF with 1-3. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Team Södermöre comes from Hagby which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hagby does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Hällaryds IF, FC Real Internacional, Brämaregårdens FC, Östers IF and Forsa IF).
